My life lately has been somewhat of a whirlwind. Keeping the crazy schedule of work at 6 am, working out immediately after I get home, making dinner, spending time with my boys, planning the wedding & staying up waaaay too late. There are simply not enough hours in a day.
Among everything, Carter is waving, clapping, kind of pointing, saying mama & dada ( I think he says up ) & almost uh-oh, standing on everything, cruising, almost walking! Eating a lot of big boy foods & just getting too big, too fast. He will be one in just over a month. It leaves me wondering where on earth has the time gone? I wish I could freeze time for just awhile & soak up all of the amazing moments that we have had in the past 11 months. Instead of this being a possibility, it seems that life fast forwards more & more quickly with each passing day.
Wedding planning is going very well. We had pretty much everything booked & set within the 1st 3 weeks of our engagement. Whoo. Let me tell you, planning a wedding out of state is not so easy. We won't get to physically see our venue until the week before the big day. I have heard that it's beautiful, but still feel like I'm going into it blind. Planning a wedding with an almost one year old is stressful to say the least. I am missing moments like having my mom/ mom-in-law & wedding party there to watch me try on wedding gowns oohing & ahhing over me while sipping champagne, going with my girls to watch them try on bridesmaids dresses etc. I am so thankful to have my mom here helping me out & steering me in the right direction. I would be LOST without her. Period. . It will be an amazing day & I can't wait for it to get here. I get to be one of the lucky girls that actually gets to marry my best friend. Even though the long distance planning is hard it will be so worth it because we get to share our day with everyone we love.
Now it's time to focus on planning Carter's 1st Birthday bash...
hey friend! i have thought about you often and wondered how you are doing and if you're surviving everything... glad to see that you're still alive and hanging in there! :) i know wedding planning can seem hard- especially with a 1 year old- and especially from out of state... but just remember not to sweat the small stuff! you've got plenty of time, and the truth is that you'll spend so much time planning and debating all of these tiny details, that just don't matter in the end. your wedding day is going to FLY BY and you'll look back and remember everything being perfect- and forget about all those silly things you're stressing about now. promise! :) just take time to enjoy this process, and breath! let me know if you need anything! can't wait to see all of the pictures! :)
